Found a stray kitten

Woke up from my post travel nap from PA to CA and there was a siamese kitten in my room. I'm only here for a week, but plan to take her home. Are they super strict on kitten age requirements or more so on the size of the animal? I think she's just under 8 weeks. Pictures of her attached!
