I´ve never been one to particularly fawn over hair metal, but I´ve checked out Extreme´s discography recently and they´re one hell of a band. Pornograffiti and III Sides kick absolute ass.

Why must every band be controversial?

Many will say Into the Void, or Under the Sun intro, or the song Black Sabbath itself, and I'd completely understand. But i think, pound for pound, including production here being more advanced than in the 70s, this is the most MASSIVE sounding riff Iommi has written.

Out of almost 1.5K comments on bands that are hard to get into, not one mentioned Alice in Chains negatively. I find that heartwarming.

As far as Ozzy´s vocal approach goes, I feel like, on the first 6 albums, there´s a clear change between the first 3 and the last 3.
