Can I get in to engineering? Weighted 4.2 GPA, not top 10% (competitive school)

I got in (Class of 27) with a 4.2 and 1460 SAT, so I'd say you're likely to get in unless things have changed. When I applied, TAMU was a safety lol. I also went to a competitive highschool where I wasn't top 10% (I bet there's a decent chance we went to the same HS)

1430, I took AP CSP and AP CSA, and this year I'm taking AP Physics 1 & 2 and AB Calculus. My main extracurriculars are all related to technical theatre, and I work at a fine arts center running/programming lights and other backstage stuff.
